Milkbomb: News
Thank You! - July 7, 2008
Thanks so much to everyone who made it out to our CD Release Party this Saturday!
We had a great time and hope you all did too! It was great to see so many faces having having a blast, especially on 4th of July Weekend. Some said the pairing of Milkbomb and Zek "the best show in Portland I've seen in years". That may be a LITTLE too generous, but it WAS 101.1 KUFO's pick for local show of the week! Check out our photos section or our myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/milkbombband to see some pics from the show.
If you weren't able to make it out, We've got you covered! Saturday, July 26th we'll be playing at The Bitter End on SW 20th and Burnside and anyone who attends gets special pricing on our debut album!

Milkbomb Newsletter - November 6, 2007
As most of you probably know, Bryce Becker is no longer in the band.
He felt the need to return to Nevada to take care of personal
business. He has been replaced by Isaac Dickman, formerly of Eugene
band "Candy Machine Wrecker". Isaac is a great bass player, and all
around damn good guy.
And speaking of new members....We have added a second guitar player,
and her, yes HER name is Annie McCalister.
We have a single coming out next year on NYC based Latchkey
Recordings. It's a compilation spotlighting great independent
singles and "Ashtray" is gonna be on it. Make sure to pick it up if
you see it. We'll get something like 35 cents for every copy sold.
Word.
Finally, the long awaited album, we know...we know...Well guess what?
We're done with it! It's been recorded, mixed and we just got the
masters back from New Orleans. We're having a bunch of em printed up
and they will be available at our gigs and online trough the website,
etc. etc.
Oh gigs? Yeah, gigs. The return of Milkbomb to the stage will be
Saturday, November 30th with a free show. Yes free. the days of
getting drunk and watching Peter fall down like a jackass are back.
The Red Room is at 2520 NE 82nd and has free Guitar Hero III all
night to boot.
We have two more super freaking sweet gigs lined up aways down the
road but we don't wanna jinx them, so we'll keep it to ourselves for
now.
Also check out our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/milkbombband and
tell us what you think. It's undergone some major changes as well.
cheers
Peter, Kevin, Annie, and Isaac
